Facing difficult situations (vv.1-10)

  1. Keep depending on God.

  2. Be available.

  3. Be humble.

  4. Exercise bold faith.

  5. Seek the good of others.

Inspecting our walls (vv.11-16)

  1. Rest before you work.

  2. Be sure in God’s call before going public.

  3. Be exhaustive in self-evaluation.

Getting Help (vv.17-20)

  1. Own the problem and the work.

  2. Be honest.

  3. Clarify God’s purpose.

Standing Firm (vv.19-20)

Trust and be motivated by God’s word, not man’s.
