SERMON NOTES

Finding Forgiveness!  Luke 5:17- 26

Vv.17 - 24

Three Groups:

  1. Those who do what it takes to get themselves and others to Jesus. They believe.

These people are needy and seek Jesus until they get themselves and others to Him.

  1. Those questioning Jesus with no faith in Him.

These people are needy but refuse to submit to Jesus’ rule as their Lord over all.

3. Confused? Probably but do you want to know?

Vv. 25- 26

If a miracle did not change the doubters, then what will?

In Luke 5:8, Peter repented and so should you.

Based on your above attitude which are you?

I am . . .

  1. an enemy of Jesus,

  2. confused about Jesus or

  3. being transformed by Jesus
