SERMON NOTES

Luke 6:27-30

Radical Love: A Four Fold Call to Love

  1. Love your enemies! Jesus’ GRACE says. forgive those who need it most! Care about those who do not care. Show them what they do not know.

  2. Serve your enemies. From simple acts of kindness to sacrificial service, Jesus’ love poured out through you should be consistent, long-term and with no strings attached.

  3. Bless those who curse you. Be the blessing to those under the curse. You were created anew in Christ to not only receive but to be a blessing. 1Peter 3:8-9

  4. Interceded for those who speak bad about you. When Jesus died on the cross He even interceded for those who mocked Him.       Luke 23:34-37

ACTION: Look for opportunities to join the joyful work of Jesus, caring for sinners! Then you will be like those who first rejoiced. Acts 5:40-42

*This is living out the Gospel, which matures us in Christ and opens doors for sharing the hope of salvation in Christ. Be the blessing!
