  • How do you respond to God?

  • Have you received forgiveness from God for this and as a result forgiven yourself? Do so now in prayer if not.

Read Isaiah 6:8 Mission

  • IF you have turned from sin to Jesus then He has a plan for your life.

  • Read Rom. 10:9-13, Matt. 28:18-20 and pray in your own words Matt. 6:9-13.

SERMON NOTES

Title: Preparing for a Purpose

Luke 6:12-16

  • If superman and even Jesus needed time to seek their Father, so do we.

  • More Effective Prayer

  1. Humility : He is God and I am not. He knows best.

  2. Intimacy : Love what God loves.

  3. Obedience : Follow His lead.

  • Clarify God’s purposes in your heart by quickly obeying His word.

  • Remove obstacles that keep you from focusing on God’s plan through your life.

  • Remember, God’s will never contradicts His character as revealed in the Bible.

God’s plan is to make Jesus known through me and we.
