Cindy, born on June 11, 1962 in Somerville, MA, moved with her family to Louisiana while she was still an infant. She has lived most of her life in or around the New Orleans area. She married her incredible husband, Mark, on April 14, 1979. They have one beautiful daughter, Amy, a great son-in-law, Mario, and now have been super blessed with a handsome little grandson, Jacob. She and her husband moved to Franklinton and joined FBC Folsom in 2001. Being completely overwhelmed by the unconditional and all forgiving love of God she surrendered her life to Christ in 1986. Sensing a call to teach, she has served in that capacity in various ministries. The greatest highlights in her christian walk have been seeing her daughter and countless other young people falling in love with Jesus and then sharing His love with others. Her work experience includes working at Harahan Elementary for 17 years as well as being on staff at Celebration Church as ministerial assistant to Youth, Children and Preschool Ministers. She accepted the position as Administrative Assistant at FBC Folsom in April 2008. She is currently serving in ministry at FBC Folsom by working with the teaching teams for Youth Sunday School and Wednesday night children's Bible Skills, Thrills and Drills.
"The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good obedient to their own husband that the word of God be not blasphemed" Titus 2:3-5
