  • Be a threat to the enemy by obeying Jesus as your Lord and Deliverer.

V.9 Chosen to Fight

  • Answer God’s call and join the good fight of faith.

V.10-13 The Victory is the Lord’s

  • Only together can we claim the victory by raising Jesus as Lord over all.

Focus Point: Spiritual Warfare

  • According to Ephesians 2:1-3 and James 4:1-4, who are our biggest enemies?

  • Describe “the world” based on 1st John 2:15-17; John 16:33; James 4:4?

  • How are we to respond to the world according to Rom. 12:2; John 14:27; 1st John 5:5; Col. 3:2?

  • What unseen forces affect the world that is opposed to God, Ephesians 4:12?

  • How should fight these forces, Eph. 4:10-18?

  • What is the situation of these demonic rulers and authorities according to Colossians 2:13-15?

  • Since we face a defeated foe, what enemy do we face that the other evil tempting forces use against us according to James 1:14-16?

  • How can we overcome all that wars against our souls, 2 Peter 1:3-8?

  • What attitude should we have toward our old way of thinking, Galatians 2:20?

  • What hope and encouragement do you have against such wicked forces, Romans 8:37-39?

  • Work on putting these verses into your mind in place of the thoughts that weigh you down. Write them down in plain sight. Share them with others.

  • When God gives you the victory over the enemy, what should you do, Exodus 17:14-16?
